PingProperties welcomes TKH Security to Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer

PingProperties has concluded a new, long-term agreement with TKH Security B.V., part of the listed technology company TKH Group N.V., at the Dutch Tech Campus (DTC) in Zoetermeer. It concerns a 10-year lease for a total of 5,484 m2 LFA at Werner Von Siemensstraat 7, of which 3,909 m2 is office space and 1,575 m2 commercial space, plus 150 parking spaces. This transaction means that the last vacant office building is now fully let.

 

By choosing DTC, TKH Security is demonstrating its confidence in both the campus and the surrounding area which will benefit from considerable investment in the coming years. TKH Security develops and produces high-quality technological solutions in the area of security and mobility.

 

The arrival of TKH Security at DTC strengthens the mix of users. Maarten Matze (CIO PingProperties): ‘As regards positioning, TKH Security is a perfect fit with the other users of Dutch Tech Campus, such as Siemens Mobility, Yunex Traffic, Topcon Positioning and Reconext, as the campus positions itself further around smart technology businesses.’

 

The lease includes provision for improving the sustainability of the entire building to achieve energy label A+, including a new main entrance, linking atriums and a sedum roof. The renovation of the building will be completed in two stages; first the commercial space, and then the office space. Renovation of the commercial space is scheduled to be completed by 31 October 2023 at the latest, and TKH will move into its new offices no later than 31 March 2024.

 

Development of Dutch Tech Campus
By attracting TKH Security as a new tenant, PingProperties has taken another significant step in the development of the Dutch Tech Campus and the creation of a sustainable, future-proof campus for smart technology businesses working at the interface of Communication, Mobility, and e-Healthcare.
