PingProperties renews lease for 2,500 m² in Cascade Offices Groningen
02-12-2021
PingProperties has reached agreement with one of the Dutch central government’s agencies on renewing the lease for the Cascade complex in Groningen. The recent renewal of the lease with the Central Government Buildings Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) and the Groningen Archives for approx. 12,000 m2 ensure that the Cascade complex in Groningen will be fully let for the coming years. The complex’s excellent accessibility and quality are reasons why organizations are willing to commit to it for the long term. The sustainability plan for the Cascade complex is also being rolled out further in order to obtain energy label A throughout.
About the Cascade complex
The Cascade complex is at a unique location immediately alongside Groningen Central Station. The complex is one of the largest multi-tenant government buildings in the Netherlands and accommodates 17 different government agencies. Solarfields also has offices in the building. By pursuing a consistent policy, PingProperties has added value to this complex, and with the roll-out of the sustainability plan two of the seven buildings have been given energy label A. The remaining buildings will follow. With these improvements, PingProperties is creating a lasting difference for all those involved.
