PingProperties sells BOB Autowas in Rotterdam IJsselmonde
03-03-2025
PingProperties has successfully sold the branch of BOB Autowas Rotterdam IJsselmonde, part of its light industrial portfolio. This strategically placed site is located on the Cornelisland business park in Ridderkerk, right next to the intersection of the A15 and A16 which makes it extremely accessible and highly visible.
PingProperties acquired the plot of around 3,500 m2 in 2019 with the intention of developing in close collaboration with BOB Autowas a brand-new, hypermodern car wash facility. PingProperties financed the construction and BOB Autowas committed itself to a 20-year lease. The car wash, covering 2,812 m², was opened in November.
In 2023 the building underwent a comprehensive sustainability upgrade, which included the installation of solar panels on the roof to further enhance the value and appeal of the building.
