PingProperties acquires another BOB Autowas branch
02-06-2022
On 16 May 2022 PingProperties acquired another BOB Autowas branch for its light industrial portfolio. The carwash is located in Amsterdam Noord at Monitorstraat 17, adjacent to the NDSM site.
The plot of land acquired is 1,677 m2 with an existing building of approx. 450 m2 LFA, accommodating an external carwash facility, a vacuuming area and car wash boxes. In collaboration with PingProperties the building will be thoroughly renovated and at the same time will be extended to 1,300 m2. One of the additions will be an interior conveyor. For this reason a long-term triple net lease has been concluded with BOB Autowas B.V. This substantial extension is essential, as an increasing number of people are using this facility, which is affecting the efficiency of the carwash operation.
The purchase of this site is an excellent continuation of the long-term and good relationship PingProperties has with BOB Autowas dating back to 2004, the year in which PingProperties acquired BOB Autowas in Schiedam. In 2019, another plot of land was purchased in collaboration along the A16/A15 motorway in Ridderkerk, where a new BOB Autowas branch was developed.
