PingProperties signs new lease with Trekpleister for Stadshart Daily Plaza in Zoetermeer

PingProperties has signed a new long-term lease with ‘Trekpleister’ for Stadshart Daily Plaza covered shopping centre in Zoetermeer. The chemist will lease around 250 m² of retail space on the first floor opposite Dirk supermarket. Trekpleister expects to open its doors in festive style in December, at the same time as Dirk.

Trekpleister is a chain of chemists with 188 branches in the Netherlands. It is a budget local chemist close at hand, accessible and attentive to its customers. The chain is part of AS Watson Group, the world’s largest health & beauty retailer.

By signing this new lease, A.S. Watson has demonstrated its confidence in PingProperties’ strategy to transform the 17,000-m² covered part of Stadshart Zoetermeer shopping centre into a daily convenience centre.

Stadshart Daily Plaza
Stadshart Daily Plaza is to become the premier covered shopping centre within Stadshart Zoetermeer, with the focus on daily shopping needs. Apart from the essential presence of Dirk supermarket, which will open at the end of this year, other retail formats such as a chemist, bakery, toy shop and other indispensable basic amenities are being added to further enhance the Daily Plaza concept. Existing retailers will be retained, possibly be relocated or not have their leases renewed, and new daily convenience retail formats will be added.
