PingProperties and BAM Bouw en Techniek conclude management and maintenance agreement for Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer
17-02-2021
PingProperties has contracted BAM Bouw en Techniek for the integrated management and maintenance of Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer. The Dutch Tech Campus brings together a wide range of national and international businesses in the field of mobility, ICT and e-health & care at a single, central site. The businesses are all directly or indirectly connected with technology. The Dutch Tech Campus has almost 42,000 m² of office space together with high-quality business and production space on a 13-hectare site and has many business-critical systems that need to be operational around the clock.
The intention of both parties is for the management of the campus to continue in this manner until 2025 and be evaluated each year.
Long-term collaboration
BAM Bouw en Techniek – Southwest Region will not only maintain and manage the buildings, systems and the Dutch Tech Campus site, but will also work closely with PingProperties to improve the quality of the service for the campus. Through their collaboration they also aim to share their knowledge and experience of the benefits to the buildings (more comfort, greater ease of use, a more pleasant environment, fewer breakdowns, less nuisance, faster adjustments) as well as developments and sustainability improvements, and by doing so to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Hans van Hoven, Management and Maintenance Manager:
‘BAM is honoured to be awarded this contract for the integrated management of the Dutch Tech Campus. It will enable us to build further on our many years of cooperation with PingProperties, but also to deliver our added value in the operational phase.’
