PingProperties launches new fund

PingProperties heeft voor haar nieuwste fonds ‘PingProperties Corporate Office fund XI’ een koopovereenkomst gesloten voor het Aegon kantoor aan de Snekerkade 1 in Leeuwarden. Onlangs heeft PingProperties dit gebouw gekocht, dat langjarig is verhuurd aan Aegon Nederland N.V.
PingProperties has launched a new fund, the PingProperties Corporate Office Fund XI. This fund incorporates the Aegon office building at Snekerlade 1 in Leeuwarden, for which PingProperties recently signed a purchase contract and which is occupied by Aegon Nederland N.V. on a long-term lease.
Sustainable building at a perfect location
The property is situated 300 metres from Leeuwarden Central Station, making it the best office location in the city. The complex, designed by Abe Bonnema, consists of two buildings with a total floor area of 11,846m2. Both buildings were fully renovated in 2016, and with a current energy label A meet all modern requirements for office space.
Strong lessee
Aegon Nederland N.V. is one of the largest private employers in Friesland, with around 1000 employees working from its offices in Leeuwarden. Aegon has historic ties with Leeuwarden; Its predecessor, Algemeen Friesch Begrafenisfonds Memento Mori, had been active in the city since 1844. Besides Leeuwarden, Aegon has branches in The Hague, Groningen and Hoofddorp. Around 4,300 people work for Aegon and its subsidiaries in the Netherlands, which focus mainly on pension and mortgage products, investments, banking and general insurance.
The fund
The new fund consists of a select number of participants, one of which is PingInvestors. PingInvestors is a regular co-investor in a new PingProperties fund.
PingProperties was assisted in this transaction by Loyens & Loeff and Amstelius. The vendor was assisted by Rechtstaete and CBRE.

PingProperties and Lithos sign LOI with Stedelink for sale of residential tower block development in in Stadshart Zoetermeer
Today the Provada was the backdrop to the signing of a letter of intent by Lithos and PingProperties with Stedelink housing association. The letter of intent is for the sale of the new residential tower block development on Duitslandlaan in Zoetermeer city centre. Stedelink will develop the tower block by means of separate purchase and construction agreements. The building marks an important step in the transformation of the heart of Zoetermeer into a lively and future-proof city centre.

PingProperties acquires Metropool complex in Amsterdam city centre
On behalf of the PingProperties Trophy Fund II, PingProperties has acquired the Metropool complex in the centre of Amsterdam from Aberdeen Investments. The multifunctional building, with a lettable floor area of around 14,500 m², offers a mix of office, hotel and retail space.

PingProperties signs long-term lease with KH Engineering and Smart AIS for S-DOCK in Schiedam
PingProperties has concluded another new lease for its S-DOCK office building in Schiedam: KH Engineering B.V. and Smart Asset Integrity Solutions B.V., both part of the KH Group, have signed a long-term lease for around 2,289 m² of office space and 46 parking spaces.
