PingProperties achieves strong results with UP Office Building lettings
04-06-2026
PingProperties has made significant progress in leasing the UP Office Building in Amsterdam. With a total of around 6,000 m² of new leases and 2,500 m² of renewals, UP confirms its position as a prime location for tech firms and related businesses in the heart of Amsterdam.
Since the repositioning, new leases have been signed with businesses including ROOMS by HOFF (approx. 4,500 m²), Rozemond (approx. 550 m²) and Makerstreet (approx. 950 m²). Existing tenants have also confirmed their confidence in UP, with Infoblox (approx. 600 m²), Mambu (approx. 950 m²) and Datto/Kaseya (approx. 950 m²) finalizing lease renewals for the long term. These transactions mean that almost 80% of UP, around 14,000 m², is let.
PingProperties was assisted in these transactions by the lettings team comprising DILS, First, Flexas and CBRE. Around 4,000 m² is still available to let, varying from 250 m² – 4,000 m².
Letting success driven by strong repositioning
The successful lease results are directly due to PingProperties’ comprehensive repositioning strategy. Right from the moment of acquisition the focus has been on strengthening both the physical quality and the identity of the building, positioning UP as a full-service working environment with a strong focus on community and wellbeing. Tenants benefit from a wide range of facilities, such as flexible meeting spaces, co-working concepts, hospitality services and lifestyle amenities. With its combination of high-end sustainability (net zero), a strong location, flexibility and a distinctive hospitality and community concept, UP is a perfect match for the needs of modern tech firms and related businesses.

The entrance zone and reception area are currently undergoing a thorough renovation, with a meet-and-greet service and a prominent LED screen of around 70 m². This initial construction phase, which is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026, will go towards providing a powerful first impression and a recognizable, modern look.
Robert Ciggaar, Investment Manager at PingProperties, explains: “The speed with which we have attracted new tenants and succeeded in renewing existing leases underlines the strength of our UP building. We see that our strategy is having an immediate impact in the market. With the ongoing renovations and further plans, we are continuing to develop UP as the most inspirational working environment in Amsterdam’s tech valley.”
