Transformation from offices into sustainable lifestyle hotel

The former office building of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) was purchased by PingProperties in 2006 and redeveloped as a sustainable lifestyle hotel. Located near the Amsterdamse Bos (forest), the hotel has 143 rooms, a stylish restaurant and an attractively furnished Skymaster bar. A successful transformation in which PingProperties has made a lasting difference in keeping with the experience of Ibis Styles Amsterdam Airport as a ‘green oasis’.

Thanks to the hotel’s growing success and a rising market, PingProperties, as owner and hotel operator, will extend the building to accommodate 126 additional rooms, a new gym, a range of meeting rooms and offices and a terrace to the front.
