After a speedy 8-month renovation process, PingProperties and BAM Bouw en Techniek have completed a state-of-the-art office building spanning around 6,000m² for Siemens at the Dutch Tech Campus, at Werner von Siemensstraat 5 in Zoetermeer.

On Tuesday, 7 September, PingProperties, BAM Bouw en Techniek – South-West region and Siemens signed for the completion of the future-proof office building with energy efficiency label A+. The building Siemens will be working in as of September 2021 was redeveloped to meet climate comfort level B and energy efficiency label A+. All the installation technology was almost completely replaced with Siemens parts, and the building has heat pumps and solar panels. The tenant will also invest in the building through the use of a new built-in package that focuses on sustainability and flexibility. The completion of the office building was made official with a small celebration.

Nick van Vliet, (Re) Development Manager at PingProperties:
‘We are pleased to be able to house Siemens (again) here on campus. With the completion of this redevelopment, we have added a sustainable and flexible office building for Siemens to the Dutch Tech Campus. That is an important milestone in the development of the science park.’

Developing the Dutch Tech Campus
Currently, PingProperties is adding the final touches to the new development spanning 4,700m² for Topcon Positioning – a Japanese hi-tech positioning company. In July 2021, PingProperties signed a long-term lease agreement with Lamboo Medical for an office development to be built at the Dutch Tech Campus, spanning around 13,500m². Lamboo Medical is the market leader in the development and construction of innovative mobile medical accommodations such as modular portable MRI machines, CT scanners, cath labs, mammography and PET-CT scanners.
