PingProperties concludes agreement with Louvre Hotels Group for its building at Schiphol

24-03-2016

PingProperties recently signed the management agreement with Louvre Hotels Group (LHG) for its building at Piet Guilonardweg 3 at Schiphol. At this location, PingProperties will operate at its own risk a Tulip Inn Hotel to be managed by LHG. LHG is among the largest hotel groups in the world following its acquisition last year by Jin Jiang International Holdings Co. Ltd, with more than 3,000 hotels in 52 countries.

The initial work on the transformation has already started and the Tulip Inn Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is scheduled to open its doors to guests in October 2016.

Cool and green
The Tulip Inn hotel format offers PingProperties the opportunity to put its own stamp on the hotel’s concept, target group and image. The hotel, with 143 rooms on five floors, will be designed and furnished based on the interior concept of ‘the green oasis at Schiphol’. This concept will allow PingProperties to create a cool business hotel with a unique, trendy atmosphere at an accessible price. PingProperties is targeting passengers at Schiphol aged 25 to 55 years, as well as business travellers in the budget segment. The hotel will be equipped with free superfast Wi-Fi, a free shuttle service and a 24-hour lobby and reception service. View the teaser

Following on from the boutique interior concept, once the transformation is complete the hotel will be awarded a ‘Green Key’ label, an international quality mark for sustainable businesses in the tourism and recreation sector.
