PingProperties leases Meidoornkade 10 in Houten to Sharp

Sharp Electronics Benelux B.V. has renewed its existing lease of approx. 2,600 sqm of office space and 53 parking spaces for the long term. The company is located at Meidoornkade 10 in Houten.

 

The building is prominently situated at a high-profile location along the A27 motorway. Meidoornkade is also readily accessible by public transport.

 

Sharp Electronics Benelux B.V. is a subsidiary of the globally operating Sharp Corporation. Sharp, a Japanese electronics company, was founded in 1912 and now employs nearly 47,000 people worldwide. Its products are sold in 164 countries throughout the world.

 

Sharp aims to develop products which make life more comfortable, both at home and in the office. Sharp’s product range can be divided into two main categories: business and consumer electronics.

 

The leased property is part of the PingProperties Office fund II managed by PingProperties.

 

PingProperties itself effected the lease with Sharp.

PingProperties completes sustainability project at Dunea head office in Zoetermeer

Two years ago PingProperties and drinking water company Dunea jointly developed plans to improve the sustainability of energy consumption in the office building. The building had already been completely stripped in 2013 and given new facades, resulting in energy label A. PingProperties then turned its attention to achieving further energy reductions within the building. Various steps were taken to reduce energy consumption, such as installing 168 solar panels on the roof, fitting water-saving toilets and replacing all the lighting with energy-saving LED lighting. As a result of these measures, in early 2023 the energy label was improved to A++.

PingProperties gets the final go-ahead for the redevelopment of Carnisse Veste shopping centre in Barendrecht

PingProperties has now received the definitive permit under the Environment and Planning Act for Carnisse Veste shopping centre in Barendrecht. Now that the six-week period for objections has passed, the building plans can be rolled out. More than two years ago PingProperties began developing its business plan for Carnisse Veste with the aim of making the shopping centre future-proof. PingProperties is therefore delighted that it can now put its plans into action.

PingProperties extends lease with Gall & Gall in Carnisse Veste shopping centre in Barendrecht

PingProperties has recently extended the lease with Gall & Gall (Ahold) for the long term. The lease is for approximately 223 m² of retail space on the ground floor of the covered arcade at Van Beuningenhaven 9.
