Renewal of lease with Yugoslavia Tribunal in The Hague
15-12-2015
PingProperties has renewed the lease of approx. 20,000 m² of office space and 398 parking spaces with the Yugoslavia Tribunal. The Tribunal has been accommodated since 1994 in the nationally listed building, located in the International Zone of The Hague at Churchillplein 1.
The Yugoslavia Tribunal is an international court for the prosecution of persons suspected of violating human rights, perpetrated in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
The Hague is known throughout the world as the International City of Peace and Justice. Most international institutions in The Hague are to be found in the International Zone, a strip behind the first line of dunes along the entire length of the city. The Zone runs from Kijkduin, through the core area at The Hague World Forum (where the Yugoslavia Tribunal is located) as far as the Alexander barracks. Crossing the Zone are the main traffic routes to the city centre, the coast and the A4/A12 motorways.
PingProperties itself brought about the renewal of the lease with the Yugoslavia Tribunal.
