PingProperties welcomes Barten’s Slagerij in Carnisse Veste shopping centre in Barendrecht

PingProperties has concluded a long-term lease with Barten’s Slagerij for a retail unit in Carnisse Veste shopping centre in Barendrecht. The butcher is leasing 149 m² LFA on the ground floor at Van Beuningenhaven 7. It occupies the former retail premises of Vissie, between Goudreinet and Kippie Barendrecht, in the covered arcade next to the Carnisse Veste car park. The unit has been refurbished over the past few weeks and officially opened on Tuesday 4 July. Barten’s Slagerij is a great addition to the range of shops in the shopping centre, as until now there had not been a butcher in Carnisse Veste.

Barten’s Slagerij currently has 12 other branches in the Netherlands, including Rotterdam IJsselmonde and Ridderkerk. It also has its own farm, sausage factory and slaughterhouse in Meerkerk: “We offer a huge range of sausages and meat products. Most of our meat products come from our own sausage factory. Prepared in the traditional way using our own tried and tested recipes! Why not try our delicious farmhouse ham, freshly grilled roast beef or a tasty smoked sausage? Our shops have it all.“
Carnisse Veste Daily Convenience Centre
The complex (approx. 15,300 m² of retail space) consists of 50 units on two floors and is easily reached by public transport and car. All units are supplied from two large delivery lanes accessed from Portlandse Baan. Parking facilities with 495 free parking spaces are on the ground floor of the building. Lessees focus mainly on food and day-to-day non-food necessities. Carnisse Veste is visited by no fewer than 3.9 million people each year.

The chemist will lease around 250 m² of retail space on the first floor opposite Dirk supermarket. Trekpleister expects to open its doors in festive style in December, at the same time as Dirk.
