PingProperties concludes successful lease deal for Luna ArenA Amsterdam

On 7 October 2011 PingProperties and the TMF Group reached agreement on the lease of approx. 10,600 sqm of office space and 137 parking spaces at Luna ArenA Amsterdam. It is a long-term lease which will commence on 1 April 2012.
Last year PingProperties acquired the new building, which since its completion in 2009 had not yet found a user. In order to attract lessees, PingProperties set to work vigorously on the marketing of Luna ArenA Amsterdam and the asset management.
The arrival of Luna ArenA’s first lessee has been greeted with great enthusiasm. PingProperties is developing a number of facilities especially for the TMF Group. These include a sustainable sedum moss roof terrace and a company restaurant for general use. In addition, the ground floor will be fitted out for TMF and a second entrance will be added to the side of the building to provide a future lessee with its own entrance. This work is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2012.
Luna ArenA Amsterdam has been brought under the PingProperties Office fund IV. It is a high-quality and prestigious property located at Herikerbergweg 120. The building has a spectacular atrium and a floor area of approx. 15,600 sqm lfa. Absolute Taste, Absolute Break, Absolute Kids, the Amsterdam ArenA, Heineken Music Hall, Pathé Cinema and the Woonmall Villa Arena home furnishings boulevard are all within walking distance. What’s more, accessibility by public transport and car is excellent.
There is still approx. 5,000 sqm of office space available. Several prospective lessees have already expressed serious interest and it is expected that the entire building will be leased in the short term.

PingProperties to start renovating and improving sustainability of De Argonaut and Koploper in Amersfoort
PingProperties is to start renovating and improving the sustainability of the iconic office buildings of De Argonaut and Koploper, situated right next to Amersfoort Intercity Station. The complex, which was purchased early this year, is divided into 2 buildings with a total lettable floor area of 17,080 m2, together with a basement car park for 182 cars. The business plan provides for improving the complex’s sustainability, as well as modernizing the low-rise building and positioning it separately as ‘Koploper’ (www.koploper-amersfoort.nl). The plans have been finalized in recent months and work is now underway.

PingProperties improves energy performance of Cascade building to A++
PingProperties has recently carried out further sustainability improvements to Building 1, comprising 4,870 m² of office space, in the Cascade complex in Groningen to make it Paris Proof. The renovation work has raised the energy label from A to A++.
