PingProperties lets Paasheuvelweg in Amsterdam to IKEA B.V.
04-03-2010
On 1 March 2010 the national head office of IKEA B.V. relocated to Paasheuvelweg 5 in Amsterdam. A 4-year lease has been concluded for the entire property, which has a total floor area of 2,800 sqm and 54 parking spaces.
One of the reasons IKEA B.V. has chosen the property on Paasheuvelweg is the perfect location near the IKEA branch in Amsterdam Zuidoost, which is opposite the leased office building on the other side of Gaasperdammerweg. In addition, the building has recently been fitted with a new sustainable cooling system and the walls, floors and ceilings have been renewed.
IKEA was founded in 1943. IKEA Group has since developed into a leading retail chain with 123,000 employees in 25 countries and an annual turnover of more than 21.5 billion euros.
The leased property forms part PingProperties Mix fund I, which is managed by PingProperties.
