Amstelkroon buys the Willemshuis office building in Amsterdam
25-09-2009
Amstelkroon recently bought the Willemshuis office building from a PingProperties investment consortium. PingProperties is an investment management organization focusing on prime office properties in the commercial property market.
The Willemshuis office building is located at Stadhouderskade 55 in Amsterdam. It has a lettable floor area of approx. 4,000 sqm and 54 parking spaces in the underground car park, which is a unique facility in view of the property’s location in the Amsterdam city centre.
The office building has recently been thoroughly refurbished and is let on a long-term lease to Stichting Van Gogh Museum and Common Fund for Commodities. Only two floors remain available for letting. Stijn Uijthoven of Appelhoven Vastgoedadviseurs B.V., the purchaser’s adviser in this transaction, expects these floors to be let in the near future. The vacant floors, approx. 2 x 375 sqm, have been fully refurbished and have a generous parking ratio.
