Mayor of Maastricht opens new head office of Bayer HealthCare Medical Care

Yesterday Bayer HealthCare Medical Care celebrated the opening of its new office facilities in the centre of Maastricht, in the presence of the city’s mayor Annemarie Penn – Te Strake. At this new location Bayer HealthCare Medical Care is close to the Brightlands Health Campus with the Maastricht UMC+, and brings researchers and entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector more closely together.
Bayer HealthCare Medical Care is leasing 2,490 m² of office space and 37 parking spaces in the building known as La Fortezza Zuid, located at Avenue Ceramique 27-33 in Maastricht, and employs 122 people at the site. This location is of great strategic importance for Bayer in the Benelux. Being on the border of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, this region provides excellent access to the European market and to an international and multilingual workforce.
