PingProperties concludes lease with Dura Vermeer

On behalf of Welplaat Beherend Vennoot B.V., PingProperties has found a new lessee for the office building at Oude Maasweg 2 in Rotterdam-Botlek. Dura Vermeer Haven & Industrie B.V. has leased approx. 645 m² in the office building and has already moved in.
Following this agreement with Dura Vermeer, approx. 1,000 m² of high-quality office space is still available to let. Ooms Makelaars Bedrijfshuisvesting B.V. (Partner in Dynamis) acted on behalf of the lessor PingProperties.
Striking building at a unique location
This striking office building is at a unique location in the port district of Rotterdam, centrally located in the Botlek and on the banks of the River Maas. This is a good step for Dura Vermeer Haven & Industrie to move into offices in the heart of the district that is the focus of its activities. In order to make the building future-proof for this new lessee, the air-conditioning systems are being modernized, energy-efficient LED lighting are being installed and the sanitary facilities are being renovated. These measures will initially bring the building up to energy label C, with the intention of making further sustainability improvements to the building to achieve energy label A.
Strategic location
The Botlek is a port and industrial district within the port of Rotterdam, characterized by its specialization in petrochemical industries and tank storage businesses. Several major companies are based in the vicinity, such as ExxonMobil, Cargill B.V., Shell, Odfjell, VOPAK, Damen Shipyards and AKZO Nobel. The office building is strategically located on the A15 motorway connecting to the port area and the city of Rotterdam, while The Hague and Amsterdam are also quickly reached by car via the extended section of the A4 motorway. The building’s position on a breakwater and close to the jetties also makes it extremely accessible for shipping.
