PingProperties concludes lease with Maandag secondment company
17-09-2020
PingProperties recently concluded a lease with Maandag secondment company for its building at Lichtenauerlaan 80 in Rotterdam. The office building is located at Brainpark II business park and has energy label A. The lease if for 553 m² LFA of office space and 14 parking spaces and will take effect on 1 October 2020.
With the relocation of the business units Overheid & Onderwijs to Lichtenauerlaan 80, an important wish of the secondment agency – bringing the various business units physically closer together – has become reality. One business unit is already located at the nearby Brainpark I. The other determining factor was the building’s high-profile location, right next to the A16 motorway.
Maandag will occupy the top floor of the building, which has a spacious roof terrace with spectacular views of the Kralingse Bos and the Rotterdam skyline. The other floors are let to the property developer Blauwhoed and the consultancy firm BBN adviseurs voor gebouw en gebied. Maandag was assisted in this transaction by Parc Makelaars. PingProperties was advised by De Mik Bedrijfshuisvesting.
On the first floor of this building an area of 404 m² LFA is still available for a new lessee. Interested parties can contact PingProperties or De Mik bedrijfshuisvesting.
About Lichtenauerlaan 80
PingProperties purchased the Blauwhoed building in August 2019 on behalf of one of its investors by means of a long-term sale-and-leaseback arrangement. The office building, part of which accommodates project developer Blauwhoed’s head office, is at the entrance to the Brainpark II office park in Rotterdam. The office park, which was developed by Blauwhoed itself in 1999, comprises twelve prestigious office buildings and is located along a tree-lined avenue. The generously sized plot is landscaped with plenty of green space and ample parking spaces. The location is characterized by its excellent accessibility thanks to its position directly alongside the A16 motorway (Rotterdam/Breda/Antwerp) and the proximity of Kralingse Zoom metro station. The building itself is clearly visible from the A16.
