Recently PingProperties concluded long-term leases with two major port organizations in Rotterdam: Koninklijke Roeiers Vereeniging Eendracht (KRVE) and Loodswezen Rotterdam-Rijnmond. They will be leasing approx. 500 m² of office space in the building at Oude Maasweg 2 in the Botlek district of the port of Rotterdam.
The KRVE and Loodswezen Rotterdam-Rijnmond moved into the building on 1 January 2022. Both are extremely enthusiastic about the location, which is close to their activities in Rotterdam Botlek. The KRVE has mooring facilities for its boats immediately in front of the building. PingProperties is delighted to welcome these port organizations as new tenants, which are ideally suited to the purpose of the building.
About KRVE
The KRVE is an organization that provides nautical services in the port of Rotterdam involving the mooring and unmooring of ocean-going vessels, transporting maritime pilots and all other general activities in connection with maritime shipping.
About Loodswezen Rotterdam-Rijnmond
The port of Rotterdam is the largest in Europe. In this busy port full of terminals, refineries and chemical plants, we make an major contribution to safety. We do this in all weathers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from the Tweede Maasvlakte to Moerdijk.
About Oude Maasweg
This striking office building has 2,468 m² of office space and recently obtained energy label A. The building is at a unique location in the port district of Rotterdam, centrally situated in the Botlek and on the banks of the river Maas. The Botlek is a port and industrial district characterized by its specialization in petrochemical industries and tank storage businesses. Several major companies are based in the vicinity, such as ExxonMobil, Cargill B.V., Shell, Odfjell, VOPAK, Damen Shipyards and AKZO Nobel. The office building is strategically located on the A15 motorway connecting to the port area and the city of Rotterdam, while The Hague and Amsterdam are also quickly reached by car via the extended section of the A4 motorway. Thanks to its position on a breakwater and the jetties alongside, the building is also extremely accessible for shipping.
