PingProperties is joining ABN AMRO to refinance the Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer. The refinancing entails an extension and expansion. The addition of two industrial buildings and making part of the existing buildings more sustainable will achieve exponential growth for the Dutch Tech Campus. That growth is proof of PingProperties’ sustainability ambitions for a future-proof campus.
The Dutch Tech Campus on Werner von Siemensstraat in Zoetermeer has been in PingProperties’ portfolio since 2015. The former Siemensterrein, spanning 13 hectares, was redeveloped into a bustling campus with its own unique identity and consistent tenants. The Dutch Tech Campus currently comprises approx. 44,000 m² of property in 10 buildings, and will expand to approx. 65,000 m² in 2022. The Dutch Tech Campus is the home base for renowned tech companies like Siemens, Topcon Positioning, Reconext, Lamboo Medical and Atos Medical and WSAudiology.
Developing the Dutch Tech Campus
Tenants Lamboo Medical and Topcon Europe Positioning will be welcomed with the new development of these two top-notch industrial buildings. Lamboo Medical is the market leader in the development and construction of innovative mobile medical accommodations such as modular portable MRI machines, CT scans, cath labs, mammography and PET-CT scanners. Topcon Europe Positioning is a Japanese hi-tech positioning company. Siemens Mobility recently committed to the campus for several years and will move into the top-notch renovated company building in September. This makes for a most attractive campus on the A12 for national and international companies working in smart mobility, ICT and healthcare.
For more information, see: www.dutchtechcampus.nl and www.dutchinnovationpark.nl. The Dutch Tech Campus is part of the Dutch Innovation Park; in upcoming years, the Zoetermeer Municipality will be majorly investing in the Park and in the close collaboration.
