05-04-2022
PingProperties has entered into a refinancing arrangement with Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB) for the head office of the drinking water company Dunea at Plein van de Verenigde Naties 11-16 in Zoetermeer. The building has been in use as Dunea’s head office since 2013. PingProperties and Dunea recently agreed on a lease renewal until the end of 2033.
The characteristic half-moon shaped building, designed by Graziosi Progetti architects, has been part of PingProperties’ portfolio since 2019. The head office has a floor area of 8,519 m2 and is at a prime location immediately adjacent to Zoetermeer railway station and the A12 motorway. It also has an excellent parking ratio.
Further sustainability improvements
In 2013 the building was completely stripped and given new facades, resulting in energy label A. This year PingProperties and Dunea will take further steps together to make the building sustainable. For example, 168 solar panels will be installed and all the lighting in the building will be replaced by sustainable LED lighting. The entire entrance to the rear of the building will also be modernized.
