PingProperties has sold the America Tower at Wilhelminakanaal Zuid 110 in Oosterhout to Stichting Juridisch Eigenaar Benkey Vastgoed. This transaction completes PingProperties’ successful value-add strategy for the property. The office building has been made more sustainable, is more than 80% let and has therefore been positioned as a future-proof investment.
The iconic office building, comprising approximately 6,040 m² LFA and 162 parking spaces, has been part of PingProperties’ portfolio since 2014. During the past few years, PingProperties has made significant investments in improving the sustainability of the building. The building now holds an A++ energy efficiency rating. These sustainability improvements ensure that the building meets the high sustainability requirements of modern office occupiers.
Christiaan Links, Asset Management at PingProperties, explains:
“The America Tower demonstrates how we create value. By making targeted investments in sustainability and through active asset management, we have made the building future-proof. This sale is a good example of the strategy we pursue across our portfolio.”
PingProperties was advised in the sale by Zuiderlink Real Estate (commercial) and NewGroundLaw (legal). The buyer was advised by SteenRaad, Nivab Vastgoed Advies and Gijsen Vastgoedadvies.
