PingProperties concludes lease with maritime service provider
19-06-2018
PingProperties recently concluded a lease with a major lessee in the office building at Oude Maasweg 2 in Rotterdam-Botlek. The lease is for 214 m2 lfa of office space.
Unique building at a striking location
The office building is situated in the heart of the port area, centrally located in the Botlek and on the banks of the Maas river at Oude Maasweg 2. The Botlek is a port and industrial district within the port of Rotterdam. The area is characterized by a concentration of petrochemical industries and tank storage businesses. Several major companies are also based in the vicinity, such as ExxonMobil, Cargill B.V., Shell, Odfjell, VOPAK, Damen Shipyards and AKZO Nobel.
Strategic location
The favourable location and accessibility of the building are among the reasons for the lessee to choose this site. The office building is strategically located on the A15 motorway for the port area and the city of Rotterdam. The extension to the A4 motorway also means that The Hague and Amsterdam are only a short drive away. Thanks to the building’s situation on a breakwater, ships can moor close by at the jetties in the adjacent harbour.
