This continues and expands the existing cooperation between PingProperties and Stichting Laurens at Eudokiaplein. The Human Resources department of Stichting Laurens will occupy the third and fourth floors from February 2018. A total of sixty fixed and flexible workspaces will be created in the office space of 850 m2, with 25 parking spaces. Samantha Bruurmijn, HR manager at Laurens, is very enthusiastic about this location: “An inspiring working environment in the heart of a diverse neighbourhood is a great first impression for our applicants”.

About Stichting Laurens
Stichting Laurens provides healthcare services (home care, rehabilitation, nursing home care and care) to thousands of elderly people in Rotterdam and its surrounding area. Their services are provided by about 5,000 committed healthcare professionals spread across thirty nursing homes and rehabilitation centres and about ninety home care teams in Rotterdam and its surrounding area.

About Eudokiaplein
The Eudokiaplein office and shopping complex, located in Rotterdam-Noord, has a total floor area of approx. 10,479 m² and a modern, underground car park directly connected to the shopping centre by means of a moving walkway. The shopping centre, which attracts close to 55,000 visitors a week, fully caters for day-to-day shopping needs with two large supermarkets (Albert Heijn and Aldi) among the range of shops.

The complex also focuses on care and welfare which gives it an extra social dimension for the area and firmly embeds it in the neighbourhood. The subdistrict offices (stadswinkel) for Rotterdam-Noord, for example, are located here, as are a range of social and care institutions (such as the Youth and Family Centre (Centrum Jeugd Gezin) and the NIDOS Foundation. These users exert considerable pulling power and complement their neighbourhood and the complex.
