PingProperties successfully concludes lease with TIAS for Trappenburch in Utrecht
11-05-2016
Recently PingProperties concluded a new long-term lease with TIAS School for Business and Society for a total of 2,505 m² of office space and educational facilities in the Trappenburch building on Kroonstraat in Utrecht. TIAS is relocating its campus in Utrecht to the fully renovated building (energy label A). This deal now means that Trappenburch is fully let to education-related organizations; earlier this year we concluded a lease with AoB.
TIAS School for Business and Society is an academically based business school affiliated to Tilburg University and Eindhoven University of Technology. The approach of TIAS is that economic success and social progress go hand in hand; one cannot do without the other. With a wide-ranging portfolio of MBAs, executive Masters, customized programmes, master classes and PhD study programmes, TIAS attracts around 2400 participants from 25 countries each year.
This year PingProperties began with the sustainable redevelopment of the Trappenburch building. This work also involves intensive improvements in sustainability to bring the building from energy label G to A. Upon delivery Trappenburch will have, amongst other things, completely new building-related systems, new curtain walls, a new roof covering and retrofitted insulation in the basement, on the roofs and around the columns, while still retaining the characteristic features of Trappenburch. We will deliver the building to TIAS on 1 January 2017.
PingProperties was advised by JLL. TIAS was advised by DTZ.
