PingProperties concludes lease with Cauberg-Huygen for Sarphati Plaza Amsterdam

19-10-2012

With effect from January 2013 Cauberg-Huygen will conclude a 6-year lease for approx. 600 m2 and 6 parking spaces at the Sarphati Plaza office building at Rhijnspoorplein 10-38 in Amsterdam.

This new lease by PingProperties Office fund II means that this prestigious multi-tenant office building will continue to be fully let following the departure of the Municipality of Amsterdam. The office building occupies a unique waterside location and comprises 11 floors with a total of approx. 4,500 m² of office space, approx. 300 m² of retail space and 9 residential apartments. Beneath the office building is a spacious basement car park on two levels. Accessibility by car from the A1, A2 and A10 motorways is excellent, while immediately in front of the office building is a tram stop (lines 5 and 7) and a metro station with direct connections to Amsterdam Central Station and Amstel Station.

Cauberg-Huygen is a specialist firm of engineers and consultants and is active in industry, construction, infrastructure, the environment, spatial planning and research. Some 160 qualified staff work for Cauberg-Huygen in five branch offices.

In cooperation with Cauberg-Huygen, PingProperties is investing in the sustainability of the building. Cauberg-Huygen has chosen to relocate to Sarphati Plaza for this reason, but also because of the building’s prestigious appearance, favourable location and good parking ratio.
