PingProperties has let America Tower in Oosterhout to PharmaPartners

24-12-2010

PingProperties and PharmaPartners have reached agreement on a long-term lease for approx. 2,875 sqm of office space together with 85 parking spaces in the America Tower at Wilhelminakanaal Zuid 110 in Oosterhout.

In the third quarter of 2011 PharmaPartners B.V. will combine two branches and establish its new office here. The leased building forms part of PingProperties Mix fund I, and with this transaction it is now fully let.

The leased office space is spread over the ground floor up to the third floor. At PharmaPartners’ request the America Tower will be extended to create the required floor area.

Furthermore, PingProperties Mix fund I acquired two buildings from PharmaParners through a sale-and-leaseback arrangement on 24 December. These are the monumental Huize Limburg building, consisting of approx. 1,100 sqm and 50 parking spaces, located at Slotlaan 15 in Oosterhout, and a building at Teteringsedijk 97 in Breda, consisting of 1,735 sqm and 70 parking spaces. PharmaPartners will continue to use these premises until the end of 2011.

America Tower is a prominent office building of a post-modernist design by Hooper Architects. It is finished to a high standard and has a total floor area of approx. 5,960 sqm spread over 9 floors together with 185 parking spaces. With its favourable location along the A27 motorway and the immediate vicinity of Oosterhout’s main railway station, the building is readily accessible by car and by public transport.

PharmaPartners is an ICT service provider in the Dutch healthcare market. The company develops, sells and maintains ICT concepts for healthcare providers. The ICT solutions contribute to the required modernization of the national electronic patient record system to an important degree.

In this transaction PingProperties was advised by Van de Water Bedrijfsmakelaars and Houthoff Buruma, and PharmaPartners by DTZ Zadelhoff and Pels Rijcken & Drooglever Fortuijn.
