PingProperties renews several leases again at Eudokiaplein in Rotterdam

PingProperties recently renewed leases with no fewer than six occupants of the Eudokiaplein retail and office centre in Rotterdam. These transactions involve a total of 1,977 m² divided among four retailers, namely Gall & Gall (Ahold), Aldi Vastgoed BV, Kijkshop and Demirtas, and two office lessees: Al-Gitaan and Nidos. These lease renewals mean that the entire complex remains fully let for the long term.
The Eudokiaplein amenity complex, located in Rotterdam-Noord, has a total floor area of approx. 10,527 m² with a modern basement car park directly linked to the shopping centre by a travelator. The shopping centre, which attracts more than 50,000 visitors each week, focuses on day-to-day shopping. Its shops include two large supermarkets (Albert Heijn and Aldi), as well as a baker, florist, pharmacy and kiosk.
The office complex, focusing on care and welfare, provides an extra social dimension for the area. The subdistrict offices for Rotterdam-Noord, for example, are located here, as are a range of social and care institutions (such as the Youth and Family Centre (Centrum Jeugd Gezin), the NIDOS Foundation and an organization for elderly people, the Stichting Ouderenwerk Noord). These users exert a considerable attractive force in the area and complement their neighbourhood and the complex.
