Letting of Willemshuis Amsterdam
20-02-2009
PingProperties has reached agreement on the letting of 2,120 sqm of office space, 100 sqm of filing space and 10 parking spaces in Willemshuis on Stadhouderskade 55 in Amsterdam. The new lessee will move in on 1 June 2009.
Willemshuis was chosen because of the efficient, large floor areas, the special architecture of the building, favourable parking facilities and of course its central location.
Willemshuis totals approx. 3,800 sqm of lettable office floor area and has its own car park with 54 parking spaces. The building is being thoroughly renovated. Besides a new colour scheme, the cooling, ceilings, lighting and toilet units will be brought up to present-day standards. After this letting transaction an additional 700 sqm of lettable floor area with 28 parking spaces will still remain available for letting.
Willemshuis is owned by an investment consortium managed by PingProperties, an investment management organization focusing on prime opportunities in the commercial property market.
PingProperties’ interests were represented by CB Richard Ellis in concluding the lease. VFM Facility Experts of Utrecht acted on behalf of the lessee.
