PingProperties launches new fund

03-10-2016

Today we are introducing the PingProperties Office fund V, in which we have placed the office building at Runnenburg 34 in Bunnik. PingProperties recently bought this vacant building, which has now been leased for the long term to Royal BAM Group.

Sustainable building at an ideal location
The building is located on the BAM campus where Royal BAM Group has its Dutch head office. The location of the building is ideal at Runnenburg 34, which is adjacent to Bunnik railway station and close to the A12 motorway. It has a lettable floor area of approx. 2,000 m² divided across 3 floors and 43 on-site parking spaces. It is currently undergoing a large-scale renovation by PingProperties in cooperation with the lessee. With an energy label A, the building is extremely sustainable.

Solid lessee
Royal BAM Group is a successful construction group and one of the largest Dutch building companies, bringing together operating companies that are active in two business lines: Construction and Property and Civil Engineering, as well as in public-private partnerships. BAM is listed on Euronext Amsterdam. With around 21,500 employees, BAM brings about many thousands of projects each year.

The fund
The PingProperties Office fund V is characterized by an above-average strong cash yield and a low risk profile. PingProperties Office Fund V focuses on small and medium-sized office buildings where lessees have strong ties with their location. The fund has not been financed by banks upon its formation and has a select number of participants. One of the fund participants is PingInvestors, also the management of PingProperties, a regular co-investor in a new PingProperties fund.
